To reproduce:

Go to a mailing list page
Click add
Fill in a subject, but not a message
Click save, you get a "message missing" or similar error
Enter a message
Click save
You end up in the mailing list editor, rather than the individual newsletter editor.

This seems to have been fixed already, I cannot reproduce this anymore.
